Water problems hit Twechar man’s garden

A POORLY designed row of garages has been flooding the garden of a Twechar house for several years – but nothing has been done to address the issue.

The roof and guttering of the East Dunbartonshire Counci-owned structure do not mate together, meaning that rain water simply spills down the wall.

Cumbernauld resident Edgar Brown (79), whose late mother-in-law lived in the property in Davidson Crescent, has grown tired of trying in vain to have the problem rectified.

He said: “I’ve tried my hardest to see if I can get anything done, but it’s just been a continual beat your head against the wall job.”
