Wedding competition reaches final stages

It was a difficult task, but the judges have now selected the finalists in our '˜Win a Wedding Reception' competition run in conjunction with the Best Western Garfield House Hotel, in Stepps.

The competition was open to readers of the Kirkintilloch Herald, Bishopbriggs Herald, Milngavie and Bearsden Herald, Cumbernauld News, Kilsyth Chronicle, Motherwell Times and Bellshill Speaker.

We asked all the entrants to tell us why they should win this fantastic prize, which includes;

A wedding reception for 100 people (including children).

A 4-course set meal with tea and coffee.

Drinks package of sparkling wine on arrival, sparkling wine for toasts and glass of wine plus top up for meal (child alternative available).

Floral arrangements for tables.

Chair covers and sashes.

3 bedrooms for overnight on night of wedding, including the honeymoon suite.

Evening Buffet (based on 100 people).
