Will and Kate home to roost

A school’s eco garden has become its crowning glory after receiving the royal seal of approval from Prince Charles.

The highlight of the eco-garden’s development is that it became home to two oystercatchers - Will and Kate, who gave birth to three healthy chicks last week.

Proud pupils, Amy Keyes and Michael Todd, were delighted with the birds progress that they decided to write to the Prince of Wales to let him know of the news.

A letter back to pupils from Clarence House reads: “The eco garden must be an amazing place otherwise I am sure the birds would have nested elsewhere.

“The Prince of Wales was amused to find that you have called the adult birds Will and Kate.”
