Young Eastwood spy infiltrates MI5 HQ
The 13-year-old won a Blue Peter competition by outwitting opponents from across the UK at code breaking and mental and physical challenges, winning one of three places as a CBBC Intelligence Officer.
Part of the prize was a special visit to Thames House, London’s MI5 headquarters, where he met director general Andrew Parker.

Unfortunately for Jamie’s father, the invite didn’t extend to chaperones — and poor dad was left standing outside.
Jamies said: “It was really cool and exciting. We were the first people to be allowed inside MI5 HQ for a tour.
“I enjoyed taking part in all the challenges, which included flying in a helicopter, completing a treasure hunt in Manchester and undertaking an observation challenge, where we had to lookfor suspicious things in the city.
