Youngsters in world record attempt

Lanarkshire youngsters were among over 47,000 world-wide to take part in a Guinness World Record attempt.

The young people from LANDED and the North Lanarkshire Young Carers Project took part in a global ‘three wise monkeys’ pose to help raise awareness of hepatitis in Strathclyde Park on July 28.

The group supported the campaign “This is hepatitis... Know it. Confront it”, which was being delivered through the message of the three wise monkeys, often associated with a reluctance to see, hear or speak about important things that are going on around them.
