Your guide to GP and pharmacy hours over Christmas and New Year
At Kildrum Health Centre, Dr EM Flynn and Partners will be open on the mornings of December 27 and January 3.
At Condorrat Health Centre, Dr U Handa and Partners has signed up to all four voluntary opt-in periods, and will therefore be open on Boxing Day, December 27, January 2 and January 3.

Hide AdDr JS Twaddle and Partners, a practice located at Abronhill Health Centre, will be open on the mornings of January 2 and January 3.
This is the fourth year that GPs and their staff have offered limited festive services to patients.
NHS Lanarkshire medical director Dr Iain Wallace said: “Our out-of-hours service, which operates when GP practices are closed, is always extremely busy on the days following Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
“The additional GP opening hours will help ensure that patients who are in need of urgent care are seen conveniently and quickly. They will also benefit patients whose practices won’t be open on these days as they will reduce the pressure on the out-of-hours service.”

Hide AdFor pharmacies, Boots in Cumbernauld’s Antonine Centre and the Asda Pharmacy are open on Boxing Day. Asda will also be open on New Year’s Day from noon until 6pm and from 10am until 6pm on January 2. On January 3 both Asda and Boots will be open.
