£13k drugs seizure in Kilsyth - and two men are arrested

Drugs worth £13,000 were found at two homes in the same Kilsyth street -and two arrests were made.

Police with search warrants turned up at one home in Hamill Drive around 2.30pm on Friday, March 5 where Class B drugs with a value of around £10,000 were seized – and an unspecified quantity of Class A drugs were also found. A 30-year-old man was then arrested. The second search led to the recovery of Class B drugs worth £3,000 and a 32 year-old male was arrested.

Communities Inspector Neil MacLeod said: “This highlights our commitment to try and impact on the supply of drugs in our local communities and we will continue to act on information and intelligence provided by the community.”
