Boxer Lee is running in water

IN his bid for ring success Kilsyth Golden Gloves boxer Lee Ferns has been treading water, yet still making progress by being capped for Scotland.

The boxer has been running in Kilsyth swimming pool because a knee injury limits his exercise in the gym and on the pavements.

Most recently the 16-year-old pushed the boxer ranked fifth best in the world in his age-group - Caiohin Hynes - all the way in his first fight for Scotland.
