Centurions are spinning in the rain

The fourth round of the Scottish Summer Series BMX racing was held on Sunday although you would have hardly known it was summer with the torrential rain that ensued.

A total of 37 hardy souls braved the elements to do battle over a number of different race categories.

The Centurions have teamed up with the Clydebank based Glasgow Titans to run a Scottish Regional Summer Series for the first time this year. This was the fourth race in the series and the second of five to be held on the Centurions home track. With a large turn out from both teams and independent riders some frantic pedalling ensued as each rider battled to be the best in their class.
