Civic Week badminton winners

THE Civic week badminton finals took place on Monday, June 11, 2012, at The Garrell Vale Centre, Kilsyth, and the results were as follows:

Primary five and under: Boys’ singles – winner, Ewan Abercrombie; runner-up, Sean Brady. Girls’ singles – Winner, Megan Currie; runner-up, Ailsa Deans. Boys’ doubles – Winners, Ewan Abercrombie and Andrew Bendoris; runners-up, James Connor and Sean Brady. Mixed doubles – Winners, Euan Abercrombie and Ailsa Deans; runners-up, Sean Brady and Holly Currie.

Primary seven and under: Boys’ singles – Winner, Bruce McBride; runner-up, Ross Chalmers. Girls’ singles – Winner, Aimee Paterson; runner-up, Karen Marshall. Boys’ doubles – Winners, Bruce McBride and Ewan Abercrombie; runners-up, Andrew Paterson and Ross Chalmers. Girls’ doubles – Winners, Aimee Paterson and Karen Marshall; runners-up, Karis Abercrombie and Beth Wilson. Mixed doubles – Winners, Aimee Paterson and Ross Chalmers; runners-up, Mhari Paterson and Bruce McBride.

Secondary S2 and under: Boys’ singles – Winner, Murray Penman; runner-up, Murray Wilson. Girls’ singles – Winner, Ann Paterson; runner-up, Mhari Paterson. Boys’ doubles – Winners, Murray Paterson and Evan McKillop; runners-up, Lewis Cameron and Murray Wilson. Mixed doubles – Winners, Murray Wilson and Aimee Paterson; runners-up, Lewis Cameron and Mhari Paterson.

Secondary S6 and under: Gents’ singles – Winner, Stuart Burns; runner-up, Murray Penman. Ladies’ singles – Winner, Kiera Paterson; runner-up, Ann Paterson.
