Cowboy is looking to ride into fourth place

CLYDE manager John McCormack is desperate for an end to the wintry conditions so his side can begin to climb the Irn-Bru Second Division.

Despite the impromptu winter shutdown, the Bully Wee boss says the morale of his young players is as high as ever.

Speaking exclusively to the News, McCormack revealed he has his eye on far more than the safety of a mid-table position in the Second Division.

He said: "I'm aiming for fourth spot. There's no point thinking about next season for that, I might not be here next season, we're aiming for fourth.
