Cumbernauld bowlers in four finals

THE Glasgow and District Indoor Bowling Association's Belhaven Best finals day will be held at the West of Scotland Indoor Bowling Club on Sunday, April 11, from 11.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cumbernauld will be represented in four of the finals. Junior Under 16 singles: Dumbarton v Blantyre at 11.30 a.m.; Under 25 singles: Cumbernauld (Stephen Fleming) v Whiteinch at 11.30 a.m. Ladies – Singles: Cumbernauld (Sheila Wilson) v Whiteinch at 2.30 p.m.; Pairs: Coatbridge v Dumbarton at 2 p.m.; Triples: Blantyre v West of Scotland at 2 p.m.; Fours: Dumbarton v Coatbridge at 2 p.m. Gents – Singles: Blantyre v Coatbridge at 2.30 p.m.; Pairs: Cumbernauld (Scott Baxter, Gary Wilson) v Coatbridge at 2 p.m. Triples: Cumbernauld (Craig Bulloch, Graham Tait, Stewart Williamson) v Coatbridge at 2 p.m.; Fours: Coatbridge v Allander at 2 p.m. Seniors – Singles: Blantyre v Clydebank at 2.30 p.m.; Pairs: Coatbridge v Clydebank at 2 p.m.; Triples: Coatbridge v West of Scotland at 2 p.m.; Fours: Coatbridge v Blantyre at 2 p.m.

Aberdeen will play East Lothian in the final of the Scottish Cup at Prestwick Indoor Bowling Club on Saturday, April 10, commencing at noon.
