Cumbernauld senior bowlers enjoy their triumph
Last week the Senior Gents team were enjoying their first win of the season in the Inter Club League when they beat West of Scotland in Glasgow.
It was a very hotly contested match throughout with Cumbernauld eventually winning by 62 shots to 58.
This week the hopes were high of continuing their success at home against Lanarkshire, and it looked promising when a third through the match, the local team were 30 shots in front. Unfortunately their opponents fought back to win the match with the last bowl of the game.
