Daniel hopes to help see off ‘auld enemy’

Daniel McDonald was in the under 18 squad that suffered a defeat as the Republic of Ireland battled to a 2-0 victory at Fraserburgh’s Bellslea Park.

Following away defeats to Northern Ireland and Wales, Scotland were hoping home comforts would help them chalk up their first Centenary Shield points of 2013.

Scotland will now be looking to avoid a tournament white wash when they face England at St Johnstone’s McDiarmid Park on Friday, April 12.

The game that will be shown live on Sky Sports and kick off is 7pm.
