Bully Wee must show no fear

Their manager, Jim Duffy, says his players are “psyched up” for the biggest game of the season, which will see the Broadwood boys play in front of a 40,000 crowd on the day Rangers receive the Third Division trophy.

One player who will be missing out is winger Stuart McColm, who has been written off for the season with suspected knee ligament damage. Jim said: ”The injury is not extensive but he will need four to six weeks, so obviously that is it for the season. He will be a miss for us as he’s played in the vast majority of our matches this season, giving us balance and width on the left hand side.”

The Bully Wee will be travelling to Ibrox on winning form, having defeated the wee Gers of Berwick 2-1 on Saturday at Broadwood. “That was a good result, it was a tough match and we rode our luck at times but we got two good goals,” said Jim, who feels his men have been steadily building consistency in recent games, despite a 4-2 defeat at the hands of playoff contenders Brechin.
