Clyde away win

Clyde travelled to Galabank on Saturday and recorded a 2-1 away win over Annan Athletic.

The Bully Wee scored first with a Kieran McDonald free kick which set up Ryan Frances’ first goal for Clyde. However Peter Weatherson equalised for the hosts just before half time. However the scorer undid his contribution in the second half by bringing down Michael Daly within the box to award Clyde a penalty, which was converted by John Sweeney. The win puts Jim Duffy’s squad into fifth spot in Division Two, and they have the chance to progress further up the table if they can record a home win this Saturday (September 28) against sixth-placed Montrose.

The kickoff time for this match at Broadwood Stadium is 3pm.
