ALTHOUGH they were outplayed for much of the second half, Clyde can count themselves unlucky not to have shared the spoils with Queen’s Park on Saturday.

ALTHOUGH they were outplayed for much of the second half, Clyde can count themselves unlucky not to have shared the spoils with Queen’s Park on Saturday.

The Broadwood faithful were left disappointed as goals in the 82nd and 86th minutes sent all three points home to Hampden with The Spiders.

Manager Jim Duffy said: “It was a tough match - first half was pretty even, second we started well but they began to edge it.

“For the last third of the game, last half an hour or so, they were the better team.

“I think it was one of those situations where, because we were the home team, we began to rush it and tried to force a winner when maybe we should’ve defended better and tried to salvage a point.

“But it’s hard not to chase a winner at home, that’s what everyone expects. It just left us a bit disjointed.”
