Clyde manager Barry Ferguson has picked up the SPFL League 2 Manager of the Month award for February.
The Bully Wee boss guided his side to three wins from their four matches during the month, losing only their first match 1-0 at leaders Elgin
That run got Clyde’s promotion push back on track after a nightmare start to 2016 which saw them lose all three games in January plus that Elgin match at the start of February.
It’s Ferguson’s second monthly award of the season - he also picked up the prize for November.
But the manager was keen that his players got the credit for the turnaround in their fortunes.
He said: “It’s not an award for me, it’s for my staff and my players.
“They’ve done well to get us back in there after we fell behind in terms of games.”
Clyde, the pre-season bookies’ favourites for the title, continued to close the gap on the sides ahead of them on Tuesday night with a 3-0 win at East Stirlingshire.
That left them in fourth place ahead of Saturday’s return clash with Elgin who are six points ahead of Clyde but with a game more played.
