Consistency is the key for Bully Wee

CONSISTENCY is the key for Clyde boss Jim Duffy, who is keen to keep momentum going despite a cold weather call-off at the weekend.

A strong defensive performance saw the Bully Wee take all three points in their previous match against Annan on March 16, but a frozen pitch led to last Saturday’s trip to Elgin put on ice until Tuesday, April 9.

“It isn’t getting a win that makes you feel optimistic, it’s being able to deliver good performance. I’d say we played well in the last three weeks and were rewarded with a win over Annan. But Elgin is a difficult place to go and the trip is now harder with the game taking place on a Tuesday night and some of the lads having work commitments.

“But we do need to keep consolidating on our performance.”
