Duffy says Clyde have ‘made progress’

CLYDE manager Jim Duffy says his team has made progress over the 2012-2013 season and can build on this in time to come.

A 2-1 home defeat to Stirling Albion saw the Bully Wee achieve a final position of ninth in the Third Division, but their manager remains positive about his club’s fortunes.

“This is the first time we’ve gained more than 40 points since the 2006-2007 season, and the first time we’ve recorded twelve wins.” said Jim. “From that point of view we’ve improved. On the other hand there has been frustration as well. With a couple more things going out way and a couple more results we could have been in playoff contention, as Berwick were this time.”
