Football hit again by wintry weather

CUMBERNAULD and Kilsyth’s football clubs were idle at the weekend because of the wintry weather.

Clyde’s away fixture against East Stirling was called off because of a snow covered pitch at Ochilview Park in Stenhousemuir (pictured). They are scheduled to play host to Elgin this weekend.

On the Junior scene Cumbernauld United’s Scottish Cup fourth-round game against Kelty in Fife was also postponed. This match is now scheduled to go ahead this Saturday, weather permitting.
