Juniors hit by weather

Cumbernauld United and Kilsyth Rangers were just two of the many west of Scotland junior football sides to be hit by the weather on Saturday.

Only 12 of the 29 games scheduled in the west region went ahead, the rest being postponed due to the torrential rain.

The Kilsyth side are scheduled to travel to face Ardeer in a league game this Saturday, kick-off 2pm.

Cumbernauld United’s New Coin Holdings Cup, second round tie against Glsgow Perthshire was also called off.

The Guy’s Meadow side are due to play host to Irvine Victoria in a league game this Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 2pm.
