The home side doubled their advantage just after half-time through ex-Clyde, Dumbarton and Alloa midfielder Jordan Kirkpatrick.
Kirkpatrick collected the ball on the edge of the box and rifled a fine strike wide of Kerr into the corner of the net.
Allan McKenzie then sealed the points for the home side with a third goal midway through the second period when a cross form the left found him unmarked to head home from close range.
