Major changes afoot at Clyde
A low key performance by many of the Bully Wee players saw them go down 3-0 at Stranraer, but the manager believes their frame of mind was not right after half of the squad was told on Thursday they would not be returning next season (see page 39).
Duffy confirmed his efforts to piece together a new team for next season are already producing positive results.

“We’ll have to run with a tight squad because of budget constraints.
“We’ll be looking to put together a bit of a younger squad, a different approach to what has been done here recently.
“That’ll let us develop the players the way we want them for the club and move forward from there.”

He added: “I’ve spoken to the under-19s coaches Eddie Annand and Lee Sharp about players. There’s some there who will be given the chance to step up and show what they can do.”
