Over 25 kids kicked off the first two sessions of the new Clyde Tots programme which is running in partnership between Clyde FC and Clyde FC Community Foundation.
Head of community development, Tom Elliott, is no stranger to spending his Saturday mornings coaching grassroots football.
With over 20 years’ experience in the game Elliott is delighted that so many children joined him and community coach Stuart McIntosh at Cumbernauld Academy last Saturday.
He said: “The children and parents had a ball. It’s important to get children active at an early age as research shows that taking part in an early age can result in a lifetime of sport”.
The classes will run for another five weeks with classes starting at 10am and 11am.
