SFL use Twitter to keep fans in loop
The SFL have launched a new service to update fans on cancellations and pitch inspections as winter starts to make its mark on the league schedule.
A Twitter site has been set-up which gives up-to-the-minute updates on pitch inspections and cancellations to allow news to filter through to fans quicker.
A spokesperson for the league said: “At the SFL we will try and bring you news of pitch inspections and postponements quickly after decisions are made.
“We will place them on this website and will also send out a message via Twitter.”
