George Shaw has been appointed as the new manager of Cumbernauld United.
After steering the Super First Division club to back-to-back victories in two games as interim boss, Shaw has been given the job on a permament basis.
The former St Mirren, Partick and Dundee striker has appointed Craig Tully and Ian Wilson as his assistants at Guy’s Meadow.
Club chairman George Watson said: “George has done a great job for us as interim manager in the last couple of weeks.
“We’ve won both our games with him in the post and he has brought some very good players to the club.
“We both share the vision of getting Cumbernauld United promoted.”
As interim boss, Shaw guided United to a 4-3 home win over Irvine Victoria, followed by a 4-1 away victory at Rutherglen Glencairn.
Shaw was previously assistant manager to John Queen, who stepped down after seven years at the helm following a 4-0 home defeat to Yoker earlier this month.
United have no game this weekend as they received a Scottish Cup first round bye.
