Kilsyth golfer David Coyle achieved the dream of many a golfer by securing victory on the last hole at the home of golf,

David was all smiles after emerging as the winner of Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club’s season-long Race to St Andrews competition.

He scored a creditable 34 Stableford points at the home of golf and his reward for winning is a free home membership for next season.

He had to be at his best however as John Cooper, Michael Waters Jnr and Stephen P Kelly made the sporting fourball final one to remember.

From the outset the new fixture proved to be an enormous success.
