Thomas caps a season best

With several greens and fairways having the appearance of links golf conditions, the unique surroundings has to be enjoyed in our short summer period. Stunning!

Wednesday July 3, round three of the Wednesday Shield saw Thomas Morrison beginning to show some form when he capped a season best gross 69. Andrew Ashmall won the handicap bracket with a tidy 65.

On Saturday, July 6, Kris Buchanan scored a net 60 to card the best handicap score in the July Medal which he won by one shot from Harry Dempsey.

Well done to Stephen Egan taking the second division with a net 67, his score was two shots better than six players who posted 69.

Stephen P. Kelly took the handicap medal in division one with a net 66. Paul Tyrrell was second on 67.

The Scratch Medal was won by the consistent scoring of Alan J. Brown with a level par 71, taking the honours by one shot from a back to form Robert Irvine on 72.
