JUMPing for joy with medal haul

Gymnasts from JUMP Gymnastics Club attended the Scottish Tumble Championships on Saturday, February 8 in the Paisley Lagoon Leisure Centre.

Gymnasts competed in the Club Grade One competition where they each performed three tumble runs in front of a judging panel. Gymnasts performed fast, powerful tumbles and gave a fantastic performance.

Proud Coach Debi McPhee said: “As a a club we have seen great interest in this discipline since we brought home four Scottish Champions. The club is very pleased with the medal success and coaches and gymnasts are very excited to get started on training for next years competition.

All seven gymnasts who attended the competition for the first time - representing JUMP Gymnastics Club - came home incredibly pleased with their medals and of course four new- found titles.

Debi added: “The club would like to thank all of our members, families and friends for all of their ongoing support in building such a welcoming, positive environment for gymnasts of all ages.”

8yrs Scottish Champion - Aimee Cara Seggie; 
8yrs bronze medallist - Ellie-Ann McPhee; 11/12yrs boys’ Scottish champion - Aidan Rogers; 11/12yrs Scottish champion - Hannah Johnston; 11/12yrs - Bronze medallist - Emily Henderson; 13yrs+ Scottish Champion - Jessica Galbraith and 13yrs Silver Medallist - Amy McPhee.
