Lanark group on song at ping pong

Lanark Lifestyles Centre’s dance studio was transformed into a table tennis haven for the afternoon, as the opening session was played on two brand new tables.

Group organiser Kay Gall (65) said: “The new table tennis group has been enthusiastically received by men and women members alike. We all had a great time and it was brilliant being coached by Kevin.

“He taught us how to use top spin and play forehand and backhand push shots.

“A lot of the people there hadn’t played table tennis for decades. In some cases, the last time they’d played had been during a family holiday several years ago.”
