Lifesaving season gets under way for Tryst club

THIS month sees the start of the 2012 open water lifesaving season for the Tryst Lifesaving Club.

Meeting in the Tryst Sports Centre in Cumbernauld, the club is the west of Scotland’s only provider of the National Beach Lifeguard Qualification and one of only a few places that can offer the new open water lifesaving awards recently launched by the Royal Life Saving Society.

Lifesaving offers a range of possibilites to everyone with and interest in not only health and wellbeing but also in helping the community. Opportunites to improve your fitness, learn how to save a life, administer first aid and help teach others in the community to be better prepared to save a life are all available through the Tryst Lifesaving Club.
