Medal season tees off at Dullatur
THE first medal of the season at Dullatur Golf Club took place on the Carrickstone course on Saturday.
First on tee (pictured from left) were Roy Friel, Paul Bryson and Tom Cruikshanks. Despite the recent poor weather 90 golfers took part, the best score coming from James Cooper with the best scratch and net of the day of 71 and 69 respectivly.
Second in the first class was Willie Carr 78 (6) 72, followed by Gerry Begley 79 (5) 74. Martin McCole won the second division 82 (12) 70, followed by Paul Orr 81 (10) 71 and Stephen Lovie 82 (10) 72. The third division top three places went to countback with Les Ross piping John Airlie and John Currie for top spot.
