Mooney says Gers need to bounce back

MARTIN Mooney can’t help but wonder what might have been as Kilsyth Rangers’ Scottish Cup dream was ended by a clinical Arthurlie side on Saturday.

The assistant manager grew in confidence as the Duncansfield outfit made their home advantage count from the off, taking the lead through Darren Dalrymple and controlling possession for the first 25 minutes.

But things took a turn for the worse just before half-time when McLay found the back of the net for the visitors from 30-yards.

Arthurlie dominated for the most part in the second half, despite going down to ten men, and were 3-1 up come the final whistle.
