Ciaran Keelan (27k), Amy Keyes (57k), Lee McKeown (57kg), Finlay Marshall (76kg), Scott Wilson (82kg), Lewis Waddell (82kg ) Dawid Czubak (90kg) and Cameron McKay (100kg) dominated their respective weight classes to be crowned East of Scotland champions.
Joe McCluskey (44kg) and Stuart McKay (76kg) took silver while Haden Kirkpatrick (31kg), Shaun McDonald (35kg) Samuel Galloway (39kg) and Bobby McLucas (76kg) did well to claim the bronze medal.
A delighted Coach Steven McKeown said: “It’s great to see so many of our young wrestlers compete for the first time. They have put a lot of effort into training and these results are their rewards. Hopefully there will be more to come. The older boys also did themselves proud and we will be aiming to build on these results.”
