THIS Sunday (March 31) Cumbernauld RFC will take on EMS Bron XV from France at Broadwood Stadium.
This will be the first rugby match played on the new 3G IRB approved surface in the 6000-plus seater stadium and takes place as part of the town twinning celebrations.
Afterwards NLC will be hosting a civic reception at the stadium in honour of EMS Bron at which the SRU will be represented.
Cumbernauld currently base all their training (youth and senior) on the 3G IRB approved surface at the Antonine Community Sport Hub, Croy, where they also stage after-school clubs and St. Maurice’s School of Rugby.
The game kicks off at 2 p.m. and entry is free.
