With a hole in one it was well worth the drenching for Robert Stewart when he holed his tee shot at the par-3 fifth hole on Saturday, January 25 in Round 15 of Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club’s Winter League.

This contributed to scoring 36 Stableford points on a day of persistent rain.

Fortunately the course held up to allow completion of play, and the best score of the day came from Robin Kennedy with 39.

Dean Clelland and Kenny Brown were close behind on 38. Kenny was the principal mover on the scoring as his round of 38 makes him the new leader in League Four.

Updated league positions: League One, Eric O’Neil; League Two, John Donaldson; League Three, John Love; League Four, Kenny Brown.
