Murray hopes for a repeat

Henderson made his debut in the 2-1 win over first division Cowdenbeath in the first round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup and has high hopes for another successful season working with Watt and Millar.

He said: "We've had a particularly good pre-season and the team still has to gel so while we didn't play particularly well against

Cowdenbeath it showed that if we stick together then we should get this team into a better position.

"We did better in the second half and although we allowed them to score a goal that was probably avoidable having worked with the manager before I know that they will instil in all the players what is required to do well in the league.

"Winning is a very good habit to have and with each game we'll see where we are although it will take a bit of time to see how much progress we have made.

"Having said that we do have a lot of talented guys at the club and we need to look to reach the play-offs at the very minimum. It will take a lot of effort but hopefully we can be in a good position by Christmas and then build for the later half of the season."
