Ricky's happy to be back at Clyde

NEW Clyde defender Ricky Waddell admits the third division is a new experience but is confident his team mates can compete against the more physical sides.

The 29-year-old started the club's disappointing goalless draw away to East Stirling at the weekend, after signing on for his second spell at Broadwood, having previously played with the club in the first division.

He said: "I'm happy to be back and although we currently find ourselves at this level there is no way Clyde are a third division club.

"We have a good team which I'm sure can drive us forward.

"I've never played in the third division before and the perception is that a lot of the teams are more physical to perhaps make up for a limit in skill. Howere, that is something we have to deal with"
