Lenzie looking to book Murrayfield final
A place in a national final at Murrayfield is the prize on offer for Lenzie Academy's under-16 rugby side this weekend.
The team, affiliated to Lenzie Rugby Club, take on Caithness in the semi-finals of the Schools National Plate.
After a walkover in the first round Lenzie beat Selkirk High 28-22 before enjoying a nailbiting 22-21 win over Lathallan at Viewfield in the quarter-finals.
Saturday’s semi-final will be played on West of Scotland’s astro pitch with a noon kick-off.
The winners will play Kelso High School in the final next Wednesday, February 24.
