Cumbernauld’s young winger, Zak Davis, was Cumbernauld’s start turn in Saturday’s RBS West League Division 2 encounter with Strathaven.

He capped a brilliant, individual display with four tries to round off a great day for the young winger. He was joined on the score sheet by Minty Wallace with two tries and individual scores from Ruaridh Clark and Grant Cowie.

In addition to this fine individual performance, Andrew Reid kicked every single conversion and one additional penalty in a masterful display of kicking. Andrew also excelled in his running and tackling and was ably supported by big brother Jordan who had a sound game at scrum half and latterly at fly half.
