A Kilsyth schoolgirl is collecting cash for a Cumbernauld-based charity through her parody videos on YouTube - by donning the guise of First Minister Nicola Sturgeon!

Lily Gaitens (7) who attends Kilsyth Primary has has raised more than £150 in donations for Spina Bifida Hydrocelphalus Scotland.

Elissa, Lily’s mother Elissa said, “I’m so proud of Lily. She really wanted to put a smile on everyone’s faces.”

Lynsey Hamilton, Community Fundraiser at SBH Scotland added: “We’re so grateful to Lily for raising awareness of our charity, generating donations and all whilst making us laugh!"
