The macrobert Arts Centre in Stirling has announced its Summer/Autumn season.
The Michael Clark Company will present their dance production, Animal | Vegetable | Mineral, featuring music from various artists from Scritti Politti to the Sex Pistols.
Scottish Opera will be making repeated visits to macrobert, with productions of Verdi’s Macbeth, Company Chordelia’s Dance Derby, based on the gruelling dance marathons of the 1930s, and Scottish classic Sunset Song, a new production marking the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
Other shows featuring this season include Back to Broadway, jukebox musical I Will Survive featuring Leah McRae of Gary Tank Commander, and the Lady Boys of Bangkok with their show, Red Hot Kisses.
New drama productions on the way include Hela, about a woman and her involvement in major scientific breakthroughs, If These Spasms Could Speak, and White Rabbit, a play by Iranian writer Nassim Soleimanpor which requires no director, no set and stars a different actor every night.
